Calibre email option no longer works

I can't remember exactly when it stopped working but for at least a year it isn't possible to send a book to your (or somebody else's) Kindle device using the Calibre email option. I've tried changing emails and using the DX email that the developer suggested but no joy.

Any ideas? Thanks

I just click to open, copy to a file, attach to your email.

or save to disk and attach to email.

I don't need it for myself as I use the Kindle app to send books to myself. Calibre was very convenient at sending books to other people. Thanks though!

How I combat that issue is: from calibre : save as - dropbox folder ---- now here it can be your own personal dropbox folder or it can be one you share with the person you are sending the book to. If you do not do this frequently; then save to your own folder. Open book on your device from the dropbox folder and email to whomever. If it is one you share with frequently ex : my sister and my mom. Put it in their shared dropbox folder and let them know it is there. They can collect at their convenience.
I know this method works on both apple and android.

I have always just saved my files to dropbox or google drive and then shared the link ... that way people can grab what they want when they want it. I myself also load my own reading materials from those options. (although I have created a separate folder of To Be Reads for myself that way I dont overload my phone) Hope this helps someone.
